What One Piece Odyssey lacks in traditional JRPG challenge, it makes up for with a lovable cast of characters and a story that will intrigue even longtime One Piece fans. While 35-40 hours isn’t long for an RPG’s story, it is still more than enough time to give players a fun adventure with the Straw Hat crew. One Piece Odyssey is a 2023 role-playing video game developed by ILCA and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Again, nothing pads out an RPG quite like grinding. ILCA could hypothetically add some difficulty options to give hardcore gamers the challenge they crave, which would likely add quite a few hours to the game. As of writing, One Piece Odyssey doesn’t offer optional difficulty modes, but that could change with a future update.

The game has its own characters to meet and a new narrative to experience as Luffy and the crew are shipwrecked on Waford.
Memoria is the world of memories, a dimension that Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates get lost in after a wild and chaotic storm, with each of them being stranded separately on the island of Waford. One Piece Odyssey actually takes place within its own original story, and it's not based on any anime arc.
